19. Georgie ander: Poems

I remember By Georgie Gander

I remember curly long blond ringlets
Bobbing up and down in the wind

I remember running into the middle of the road carelessly
And imagining what could have happened

I remember the beginning of the race
And my heart pounding against my chest

I remember seeing my Grandma crying for the first time
And watching the tears trickle down her face

I remember sitting on a plane
To hear the piercing screams of a distressed child

I remember sitting in the middle of class for the first time
6 times over, this has been my life
